What Are You Doing Right Now?

I have no idea why I got myself in the predicament I am in but I guess I am doing exactly what I should be.
I lost track of time on this build.
I will say it turned out to be a much bigger project than I anticipated.

Originally I planed to do this all by myself, someone needed work and I was definitely over my head. This guy really did a great job helping and actually had great experience that came in quite handy when I was a bit lost especially on the roofing.
And as usual, par for the course is the PNW weather. We might actually get 3 days without rain if it holds up tomorrow.

This morning I talked my old dad into glassing with me. I have a Coues deer tag coming up this Halloween. (Native to Mexico, AZ, And I think NM only.) They are hard little bastards to locate, spot and, especially "let the air out of".... We call them the grey ghosts.

We spotted a color phased chocolate bear and watched him for about 35 minutes. First time watching a bear like that for my old man, he was pretty excited !

Went out last night and hiked about an hour into one of my secret honey holes. Spotted some elk about 2 miles off.

I haven't even pulled the cord on my snow blower yet to make sure it runs. But then. It's a Honda. Hasn't failed to start on first or second pull in the 20 years I've owned it. I do need to check the paddles and such to be sure everything is as it should be.
 
Had an actual band practice last night! We haven't played in over a month now!

I'll admit we had 2 small hiccups whereas we forgot a break in 1 song ... But overall ... We sounded great! It was so good to be back in the wall shaking groove again!!!
 
Installed the indoor unit of the Mini Split system in the band room. Outdoor unit and wiring to be run next week. About time, finally heat/ac in the addition. The door open from the main house maintains fairly ok, but extreme hot & cold it can't fight to well with out supplemental.

That room has become an acoustic experiment. All the Shirts on every wall came about from fixing the acoustic property of the room. Not only did it allow the display of all those shirts collected over the years. But they have been moved around so many times to tame the deflection and make the room so nice for band practice. Doesn't seem like much but sometimes the exact placement of something where the sound is bouncing can really help.
