What Are You Doing Right Now?

It’s an 18” compact GE.
I meant my previous post as it is a great dishwasher. However, man was it a b*tch kitty to install. I had done two previously of different brands and the guy at the store said they are a little difficult and wanted 350 bucks for their team to install. I was allI have been around the block before buddy. Well, took me two days and 3 trips to hardware store. Really happy now, but was having a fit installing.

Been there done that. Felt at the end of the project that $350 would have probably been a bargain. :pound-hand:

Glad it all worked out in the end.

Just unpacking from camping. We smell like smoke, sweat and probably beer. Wife snapped this one of me yesterday.

We had a great day today, but yesterday was intermittent showers... damn wind blew and blew pretty much all weekend... We're typically fair weather campers mostly... We were treated to a squadron of pelicans cruising by all three days even as close as 20 yards from shore --- got a chance to watch a group of about a dozen of 'em flying about ten feet then diving to scoop up minnows for about twenty minutes.... I think there were predator fish driving them up from below, so was a bit of a feeding frenzy up top and probably below too. There was a flock of gulls involved too so lots of action!

Saw an incredibly bright shooting star last night.. I
made a secret wish about Mr. Potato Head, but I can't dare reveal it, or it won't come true

Just finished playing with an actual bass player….now watching the next Bond movie in the arc I’ve been watching.

Now I have a guest bass for a while, along with the Mesa Boogie cab, I guess…could be worse. Sounds pretty good using the Kustom K-250-2 head…fat!

A little bit of creativity, and it's all permanently mounted, and won't fall over when you open the door. I didn't have time to grab a T-fitting for the water line yet, so I'll do that tomorrow. Just got home from physical therapy. I need to find George to check his glucose levels. He's been putting us through hell the past ten days since he collapsed, and we found he had extremely high blood sugar and ketone levels. His levels seem good in the morning, then get back into the 400 range late in the day. After I have something to eat, I think I'll mix a drink and just play a guitar for a while.

Today sucked... Like really sucked.
Busy as hell, didn't get to even eat lunch. Students being so bad, parents being difficult, it never ended. After school was over I was doing bus duty, baking out in the sun.... I stuck my head onto a bus randomly and saw one of my favorite people in the whole world! She is a former student, she is a bus aid sometimes to basically watch special needs kids... she's married now, but she is an absolutely wonderful and kind soul.... sweetest kid ever! I went to high school with her mom... So I squeezed on her for a minute and doted on her.... It turned my whole day around! From zero to 100 in an instant!
Like our hearts just connect. I don't know how to explain it. . . She told me her day sucked really bad until she saw me.... I said same thing honey... Same thing.

Then I came home and found my favorite pocket knife that's been lost for two weeks! Took my youngest boy to dairy Queen.... Life is good again.

No matter how much crap you have to deal with on the day..... You just have to connect with the right people and share a little bit of love.

It's what we're here to do.

My wife drove a school bus for 20 years and she drove special needs. She did get to know some of them , many of them were older.
Glad to hear your day turned around.
