We had a great day today, but yesterday was intermittent showers... damn wind blew and blew pretty much all weekend... We're typically fair weather campers mostly... We were treated to a squadron of pelicans cruising by all three days even as close as 20 yards from shore --- got a chance to watch a group of about a dozen of 'em flying about ten feet then diving to scoop up minnows for about twenty minutes.... I think there were predator fish driving them up from below, so was a bit of a feeding frenzy up top and probably below too. There was a flock of gulls involved too so lots of action!

made a secret wish about Mr. Potato Head, but I can't dare reveal it, or it won't come true

Well, due to a project at the nearby VOTECH we're working on and school beginning back today; I got the day off! Director asked if it was ok if we took off the rest of the week so they could adjust the students back into the grind and the only other project I had to go to was over 2hrs away; the boss said " Screw it, 4 day weekend!". So I got to stay home and take my kids to school on their first day back and since then, mowed the lawn and cleaned my A/C Coils out.

Right now? I'm sitting here listening to old Vinyls ( Lynyrd Skynyrd Second Helping) and drinking a Coke lol
