What a collection!

yes I am actually INTRIGUED and interested in several of those old lovelies.......primarily some of the Ibanez with weirdo wiring and that ELECTRA Outlaw thing .........its .......just ...so ....ODD....

Very sharp! I like the way they jig jag the pups, nice looking axe overall!! The colours are sweet!

Kernel says, yes it is... The wood and the neck and the body seem like a beautiful
instrument, until you look at all the switches. Then yer eyes glaze over. Or at least mine do.

I'd love to play one of those, but would prefer a bass with only one
Precision pickup, and a volume knob, and a tone knob, and nothing more.

If you let me play this bass through my amp, I'd crank it to the "P-bass" setting and leave it there,
and let the amp do the heavy lifting.

Next I'd crank it to the "both p'ups wide open" setting, and leave it there, just to hear what
all that wiring and rigamarole was good for. If anything. I'm sure that in the past, all of this
wiring effort gave the player more options. But now, the humble P-bass with one pickup can
do about everything I need. I'll start a thread on the subject sometime soon.

Col. I guess it like owning a car with a 454 engine .....or a motorcycle with 135 hp do you NEED it......no ....will you ever really use it. ....not fully.......but there is a comfort in the knowledge you can :)
I agree in a way.. and I love my p bass. Bit I also love exploring the tones and sounds I find in the less Paul recording guitar ......with also many switches.
I use no pedals.... maybe for me I prefer flipping around the dials on the guitar to achieve color in my tone instead of having to have an electrical engineering degree and 1000 feet of cable to run a pedal board to alter tone......
Or maybe the BC Rich eagle neck through just looks beautiful .......like a piece of art.... .
