What a collection!

well thats a TOUGHIE--- the buck and a half tone of the Grabber3 is unique to it ---
NEcks are similar -- weight similar--

the G3 sounds like a G3 and well thats about it--------

Because the T-45 can have that big ol BUCKER split---and its actually a BLEND not an on off -- (Vol --tone-- BLEND) knobs-- it can get "P bass tones" and Music Man tones and almost a Ricki tone--- so-- if I could only have 1 of the 2 ---- Id say the PEavey as it is the more versatile -----

BUT thank HEAVEN I dont have to live by just 1 bass alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
actually hands down if I could only have 1 --
T-40.jpg

it sounds very much like ALL the basses------ so with the T-40 you truly have "all your basses covered" ;)

THat is quiet the accomplishment for a companies INAUGURAL effort on a bass ---EH?

Uggg I would think the Natural one with more pups is better.
uhggggg x2

I meant T40, is better I got em typed wrong

and fit-- finish and build quality are equal or BETTER than gibson and fenders of the era -- and many I have played NEW and current--
it comes whith the neck tilt adjuster-- a neck and frets that are beyond amazing (all peavey necks are stellar) the one pictured is ALL original -- every knob every switch --(tell me -- who here hasnt repalaced BOTh a NEW or 2 year old Gibsons???--I have -- HELL I have an SG right now (2015) that NEEDs a new 3 way switch--
this was built by a bunch of REDNECKS in North Mississippi ----in 1979-- everything still works--- case and liner are still amazing---- yep--

TBTH -- USA Made vintage KIT -- you cant --simply cant-- do better, $ for $ than Peavey--- period....
you might find a nicer condition EBO-- or Jazz Bass or Music Man ---but your gonna pay WAAAAY more than the 5 bills being asked for this one

Even my wife knows the "Peavey" logo at a glance -- if we are at a yard sale or thrift store she will say (if by some odd twist of mental illness I miss it---) "hey there is one of those "p" things you like .........

I was probably ACTING like I didnt see it -- so it seemed random WHEN I "found it" and then I can blame HER for pointing out what I MUST now purchase -----------(I am such a sh**)

U got an awesome wife, bro. Now you gave me more gas. or Bas

I guess I better sell some junk extra stuff I have to make room for more bas.

The wood is stellar Chili the neck is MUCH thinner than the T-series (easier to play for those that were NOT gifted with size XXL paws)
its all mahogany and maple laminate construction -- rosewood FB and 24 frets---- it RIPS man
