Young dudes are asleep.
Guess been up since 4 am, got to about 110° today. Standing around smokers can be rough. Brisket is still in cooler on rest, pork ribs where good yet never got to sample brisket. Better to let it rest and absorb flavor. Heres final pic of ribs.

In a plan to bond and become a force in our pool league, I invited my team over for a BBQ session.

We had BBQ, homemade wine, and played pool throughout the day. The food was awesome, and I received stellar compliments.

There was only 6 of us, and my wife left the house for the day so we could let loose.... and we sure did!!

And the best part..... the ultimate goal was achieved, we made the transition from team mates to friends.

Either my BBQ fingers were sticky or I had a drink in my hand, but somehow I managed to take a few pictures. Wish I had pictures of the spread and desserts. They were awesome, from what I remember.

Ribs and pit-beans are on for tonight! Sorry….no pictures yet….too much juggling to get them in, and keeping the smoker at temperature. Pic’s to follow in about 3 hours.

I wondered about that. I was watching their channel for a bit. Their channel says that they're in the Caucasus region, figured maybe you might be familiar. Wikipedia tells me that region does in fact stretch up into southern Russia, but also Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. They did seem to make kebab in lots of their videos.

And they don't sip their wine. They pour a glass and down the whole thing lol
Maybe that should have been my first clue lol

Oh i sip wine. I sip the whole damned bottle in one quick setting and it's usually gas station bought lmao
