What’s on the Grill

A bit over 8 hours of smoke, and an hour of rest…looking pretty yummy!

Smoke wood was a mix… my last big chunk of Maine applewood that I cut from a friend’s cabin orchard a couple of years back…some cherry chunks, some hickory chunks, and a couple of mesquite chunks.
It was a beautiful day for it too…

Yesterday was my brides birthday. This is what she got to enjoy.

Grilled marinated strip steak. Grilled pineapple garnish. Grilled veggies... (asparagus, carrots, onions and grape tomatoes.) A nice New York Finger Lakes red wine.

Homemade sourdough bread....

For dessert.... a purchased chocolate cake with a side of homemade strawberry sorbet.

Hot today, got the old swamp cooler blowin' towards the pits. It's already above 100°F, and supposed to hit 110° in a bit here....

Upper 90’s here today, ribs are foiled and on the grill, chicken will go just as I unwrap the ribs, did something a little different this time with the ribs, I put some BBQ sauce on them before wrapping, I will let you all know the outcome..
Cheers
