Thank you for the welcome, and for your appreciation of my ES335. In the unlikely event you're anywhere near Worthing in SE England, I'm happy for you to come round to ours and play it yourself. To be really honest, the guitar cost so much money, I was a bit scared of it at first.
Back in about 1983, I briefly owned a 1950s Les Paul that belonged to the guitarist from 10CC. It cost me serious money. but nobody gets too worried about a ding in a Lester. A 'beat-up 335' is on no-one's shopping list.
I play the 335 a lot these days, but I'm still not taking it to any eough bar jams.
