Another strap I have built for a few years recently sold off the last one I had. Kind of a pain to make, but absolutely worth it for the right person looking for a solution
The Well-Hung Bluesbreaker II is a 3" wide sliding buckle hootenanny in vintagy tweed heavy duty velvet.
Also features a frontal pickpocket & incredibly useful pull-off/push on SlideMaster bottleneck docker.
(Yes, I kind of invented it, and it's awesome if I do say so myself.)
If you find that you don't play slide as often as you should, it's probably because just like me, your slide is clunking around in the bottom of some combo amp, or under a bunch of other junk in some gear odds 'n ends drawer somewhere.
The SlideMaster feature keeps centre stage up-front super handy to access. A very quick one hand motion with your fretting hand docks it onto your finger to pull off for use.
I found after about a minutes' practice I learned to dock it back just as quickly, after awhile you'll be able to do it blindfolded without even thinking, which BTW, I have found is the funnest way to do most things in life
You will find your slide sits docked very secure, even a guitar madman boogaloo won't shake it loose, and the amount of "grab" it has is easily adjustable.
Accepts metal slides also. whatever you got, but i will include one glass slide just like as shown with this strap.
Sharp eyes may notice that something here this looks very wrong. How would me, a clumsy righty be able to reach around and stick my fingie in that there hole?
Well, short answer is , I'm in the process of making four, this is the first one and it's the only LEFTY version I made, so it's here sitting on the strap dummy all wrong and backwards. My bad!
You gotta have the open hole facing your fret hand so you can stick your finger in it to pull it off, and put it back on again... it works real slick. The next three will have the slide hole facing
the proper way, for us righties.
Yes, Well-Hung has developed a way to make a left-handed guitar strap. Whodathunkit?
Very nice leather ends, and medium level padding in the shoulder (which is admittedly more than you'd find in most what others call FULLY padded straps).
and again, a 3" wide hootenanny strap is hard to find, but one with padding and other cool features too? Fuhgeddaboudit!
Will complete the other three and have them up in the store tomorrow I figure.
