TTR Game of Toanz

Ok here goes nothing.... I had a real gig this weekend so I've been trying to unload and rearrange the gear back into my garage....

Anyhow.
Woke up at 2a.m. couldn't sleep, thoughts of quitting my :poo:ty job and going on tour and all....
Here's how it started. I have a Jackyl kind of feel for it.

Here is where I finally got my thoughts down in a recording. Raw as it gets, 1 take. Quick n dirty.

You see I work at a specimen lab in Albuquerque.... Sleazy guys walk in and out all day long... I hand them a dirty magazine and a sample cup in a brown bag. They go to a room for a while, come back with a "sample" the secretary checks their data and I transfer the cups to the lab. I can't think of a worse job in the world!

We are touring with Killswitch Engage and I am absolutely loving every minute of this!
One thing I found out is that Jesse has a tattoo of aPapa Smurf on his ass and it reads keep on trucking!
Also, Adam will only eat 2 things, chicken nuggets and hot dogs.... Says he doesn't trust real food from anywhere, deathly afraid of getting food poisoning again!

...This is amazing!!!

Hahaha yes!!!! Called out Adam D's love of bad nitrate foods and Jesse Leach's tramp stamp!

And was that a Marlin?!

Squatcher got a new gig! We sent this demo video out, and....

That's it! I'm out of the "Private Septic Tank Interior Resurfacing" business for good! That job sucked anyway! I chucked my trowel at the boss today....done!
Squatcher got a line on opening for Queens of the Stone Age on their latest tour! It is gonna be so much fun touring with these guys! They actually bring around a "shrine to The King"(that Elvis guy) that they visit before each performance! Kinda weird, if you ask me...not judging though...they're super cool to hang out with.

I don't know who they are..is that a play..:D sorry sorry something came over me..
Murcielago is a really good Maine based hard rock/stoner/metal band. Anvil are a second tier Canadian metal band that got together around 1982, and still surprisingly tour. Even though it was an early show, the house was packed for Pigboat and Murcielago, then kind of emptied out as the night went on. Anvil played to about 25 people. I also left before they were finished. They did nothing really memorable.

Wow! Heavy and rockin! Good production, singing, playing..
Thanks you bunch above for setting the bar that high!

Only one early bird bonus left!
@Thatbastarddon Cowboy is wondering why you strayed from the "quick and dirty" subject matter theme?

I’m not quite sure what he means…I didn’t even use an amp,,,not one…I wrote the song around three drum loops arranged together in EZDrummer…I didn’t even stand up to sing…just held a mic, while wearing headphones, and seated in an office chair…I could have done this on my phone pretty easily. Six tracks total…a liberal splash of reverb on the vocals, slap a limiter across the mix, and render to video. The lyrics and singing were, by far, the hardest part. I even took time out to cook dinner.

edit: This was the first “full song” with lyrics I’ve written in years.

Wow pretty awesome.
Wait to you hear my.. um... poetry....

Don't get us wrong Both cowboy and I LOVE that you have given us all a Restraining Order! It's just part of the challenge was worded like this:

"As you might have already guessed, the title/subject of the song will be... “Quick ‘n Dirty”

Doh! I was writing with the idea of “quick and dirty“, and along the way…I felt so horrible about the lyrics that I was embarrassed…figured they would earn me a “restraining order“…Doh! I don‘t even use the term “restraining order“ in the song…it could just as easily have been called “quick and dirty”. The subject matter does have the connotation of a quickie that spawns the desire to extend longer than it probably should ever have been.
Sorry…I suck.

Well... still a quite impressive Squatcher and Dongle Danger is just plain full of interesting surprises. I do wonder if your competitors will accept your explanation though
