Thank you buddy, but I truly suck at trying to solo.

I just play what’s in my head at the time..
90 % of my riffs need to be relearned to actually play them again. I may have a piece or two that I have played before,, but they tend to make their way into other’s.

But I am going to throw something down, out of time , mistakes and all.

Got my riffs written and roughly laid down, drum machine beat, some truly cringey bass ...not going to bother fine-tuning it. I'm having timing problems in Reaper today... latency/sync and stuff ...whatever! ...Just gotta drop some crappy voice on it now... maybe tonight

I’ve tuned up my Cajon, and worked out a general beat.….but there’s hockey today…and beer.

I will not be singing, or putting bass, or drums.
Just a unpolished rude demo. Guitar only
 
@Mitch Pearrow SJMP you do you, your instincts have been pretty strong through this so far
This round is only for immunity anyway. but we will still need lyrics.

I'm just doing to punish myself with the same pain I'm putting you guys through,
Plus I needed to kick myself in the arse to write something. it's been a long while.
Even a terrible song is still a song, pulled out of the ether, or wherever :poo:

Songsmith skills come from writing songs, there's just no other way to get them.

Again there might even be a few half decent ones here, maybe more, but I'm pretty sure there's going
to be plenty of suck including mine, but that's going to be at least half the fun of it, as we bare our souls
who's using AI to write lyrics? I found a place, not bad for idea generation, but whole songs are pretty weak.

Which one will suck the worst? LOL? I should add +2 bonus points for most awfullest worst song.
Tthe first in bonus points are pretty good for getting in early.

I'm pretty sure this is the second of only three actual musical challenges in the whole 20 chapters

So a call ruffles me.. because I am still at work, with my overwhelming receipt checking job at Walmart.
A big gig with a known band.
And one of my favorite guitarist

KK’s Priest

We scrambled to get our gear loaded an get to the gig.

I had come up with a little opener piece that we would work on as we were heading out.
The rest of the band thought it was pretty cool because it was simple, but sounded heavy as usual.

So I took this opportunity to jot down some lyrics for it.. mind you this is the first draft.

I also found out a tightly knit secret about the band we will be supporting.

They don’t calm their nerves as we do.. (smoke an drink)

They prefer Yoga , and warm milk !!

But I am happy for our bands selection on this tour.

Maybe I won’t have to go back to Walmart with my tail between my legs.

Why do I seriously believe that it is entirely probable that KK and the boys may ACTUALLY be yoga folks who like milk? Old rockers pick up strange habits after going on the wagon lol
