One Telecaster Clone

This is your chance to own a very unique and highly sought after Telecaster Clone. This guitar started life as a SAGA kit guitar that had already been assembled and painted with a brush when I acquired it after a very spirited bidding war on one of those online auctions. Basswood body.
Unknown neck wood. Rosewood Fretboard. Upon arrival at my Chateau the following was performed:

Stripped ugly paint job to bare wood.
Stained with Minwax Cherry Stain
Cleared using several applications of Tung Oil
Drilled holes for thru body strings.
Installed new bridge allowing thru body strings.
Install 4-way switch:
  • 1-Bridge
  • 2-Bridge-Neck parallel
  • 3-Neck
  • 4-Bridge-Neck series
Replaced dead neck pickup with a Strat style pickup sourced from Carvin Guitar
New GraphTech String Trees
Peace/Dove Strap sourced from Chicago Music Exchange
Control cavity has been lined with copper tape drastically reducing unwanted hum/noise.

Switch tip is included. No xtra charge. Shows in the first photo. Was unaware it was not on the guitar when I took the body shot. :pound-hand:

Edit: Yeah. Headstock shape is unique for sure. Guy that built this kit did a very poor job cutting out the design on it. Very angular cuts. I did the best I could with a sander to soften those “cuts.”
