Yes. The best. Many songs they had were very uplifting and have actually prevented some suicides. My favorite band and guitar player.Their lyrics were uplifting, they had a huge following.
So effortless
Absolutely!,it's where I started learning "weird" chords. Likely may Fave song.On my top 10 of all time.
Saw them in Regina, maybe 1985? Thunder 7 tour. Wore that shirt proudly 'til it was rags. Sight and sound spectacle. There is a documentary out on the band not sure where I saw it
Actually, after reading Rik's memoirs, they were already waning in record sales as the future was getting ahead of them and the record company, as always, screwed them over. They owed quite a lot of money for merch etc at that point. Tours were fading.Just watched the Documentary for the third time yesterday..They were a huge Band back then, and if Rik hadn't of quit the Band and went out on his own, who knows how far they would have gone. They had a very large following of course in Canada, but also U,S.A.
Saw them first in Regina arena 1978 before yhe Just A Game tour which we saw too. Saw them 6 times plus the US fest in 83.Saw them in Regina, maybe 1985? Thunder 7 tour. Wore that shirt proudly 'til it was rags. Sight and sound spectacle. There is a documentary out on the band not sure where I saw it
