Excellent job on cleaning off all that puke and toasty wire ends. Why did you replace the crusty carbon comps?
It looked like they were all screwed around with and overheated w/ a soldering iron. Like repeatedly soldered to death.
So I was inspired to replace those 7 resistors.
I didn't feel like UN-bending the old ones was gonna do much better.

But secretly I am not a fan of carbon resistors.
I drive all the way across SLO to buy 1 carbon resistor, and it costs like $1.69 for 1 resistor. (from radio shack)
I would rather use metal film or
wire wound or bulk metal foil resistors.

I knock stuff off the walls here on 7. I've had to buy new picture frames and secure them with Two sided tape.

That is how I like to play, plug in and set the volume on 7.
No effects, just 7. 7 has a sweet spot.
I like 11 too, but that must be installed. Most amps don't come with 11 from the factory.
Changing between 7 and 11 on demand would be ideal for me.

AMS, As I am seeing things, the thick green goes to the 16 ohm pin, the yellow to the 8 and the Black goes to the 4ohm. The Green has a thin/ small jumper from the green 16 ohm pin to the center, while the 4 ohm also has a Purple wire on the pin with the black wire. Yellow is just the one yellow.
I think your purple wire (violet) connected to 4 ohm is NFB to the phase inverter.
It seems like your speaker jacks are hardwired to green 16 ohm (thin small jumper). Which is probably the safest compared to an unreliable selector.
