Don't knock Epi's. My Explorer and most recently the Flying V are damn fine instruments. Really glad I saved a ton of money with them.wow---
oh that brings up a point Ive been pondering -- is the Korina Epiphone Modern reissue.....":worth it" I mean its cool quirky and ESSENTIALLY to spec .....to the original ...... (and sorry but I like them) .....but that is 900.00 ........ for an EPIPHONE (my Ferengi side says "F" no!!!!)

not all eggs in one basket........ for the investicularly challenged% of profit spread over market volume is always better than 1 big score
Wow! Wow! Wow! Very cool... :dood:
I'm hoping that some day I get to see a TSO tour show.
I hope you had good time, I'm not familiar with their music.Alright...I'm home and have LOTS of pics!
If you've never seen the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) it is a very visual experience. They change guitars often just for the eye-candy appeal of it.
While I didn't get pics of all the guitars, between guitarists Chris Caffery and Joel Hoekstra, I saw the following:
Gibson Les Pauls
Gibson SG
Gibson Flying Vs
Gibson Modern V
Gibson Explorer
Gibson Firebird
Fender Stratocasters
Ibanez (they played a couple but I couldn’t tell which model)
Jackson Vs (Chris Caffery played a few different ones)
Friedman Tele
( @Ramo , this concert was pretty heavy with Vs and Explorers!)
The bass player played a Music Man bass most of the night, but I did see him with a single-cut bass, but couldn't tell the make or model.
Several of these are captures from video I took.
This is how the show opened:

Here are just various shots or captures from the evening:
This gets a pretty good pic of the bass player in the foreground. He was very animated and the audio engineers had him mixed so he was pretty thunderous! Chris Caffery is also visible with one of the Vs he played through the evening. To the far right is the electric violinist who also conducts the string section.

Just another view of the stage. We were close enough to feel the heat from the flames!

Here's a better shot of one of the keyboard players. He is also the music director for the group.

Okay, now some of the guitars...

It’s very possible you’ve heard them and didn’t know it!I hope you had good time, I'm not familiar with their music.

Every year they do a Christmas-themed show. Joel Hoekstra, who I mentioned a lot above, also plays for Whitesnake.
Here are a couple of videos I took when I saw them exactly two years ago. I was in almost the exact same seats!
