unpopular opinion -- SET NECK MAKES NO DIFFERENCE OVER BOLT NECK on a properly set up guitar for tone.

HOWEVER for maintenance and reliability/stability practicality and usually cost savings etc............ bolt neck slays set neck every time........

FEEL FREE TO ARGUE THIS ONE FOR A BIT ------ you can take a break @Ramo from the radio wars

I like set necks, see we are different in that department too lol

I like and own about an equal number of both ---I just know its a HOT BUTTON topic for some --- like the fact wood makes a tonal difference ---- or strings ..... or....... pickups........... or cable size and or length ...................

Ironically, this is the last Jackson I ever owned and I traded it in years ago for -- you guessed it -- a Tele. The modern player Tele actually, like @Far Rider has.

funny---- the set neck for sustain argument always comes up -- I have 1 neck through USA Peavey bass.......all the rest of the BOOM STICKS are bolties ........and they sustain for DAYS in a couple cases.......... longer than the set neck..................... hhmmmmmm

I could argue that one. Two of mine have them and out sustain the 2 set necks and one bolt on i got
