Jethro, you ROCKSTAR MAKING Canada look good! but i have few questions...The oldest live footage I have. From big outdoor show in 1983.

Thanks!!Jethro, you ROCKSTAR MAKING Canada look good! but i have few questions...
1 were you a cartel boss doing rock on the side?
2 why are you playing almost tele radio guitar?
3 why you transform yourself from ROCKSTAR to POPSTAR.?
4 whats that white guitar? looks like straight out from hell and something the devil would play!
you are badazz man!
look forward to more rocky songs, you look good playing them like you owe the stage you rockstar...Thanks!!
No cartel, no. Just a bad mustache.
That Goya L6-S copy is a fantastic guitar and hot, to me. Not a Tele shape or pickguard, or pickups. It smokes!!
I am no popstar. The current originals band is a compromise as the singer songwriter has different influences taht lean that way. It's fun for me though.. will introduce more cookin guitar in the next 2 songs, will be in studio hopefully next month earlier on.
My covers band Whiplash does classic rock stuff but with a harder flavor guitar wise. Thats what I really like!! I should post a vid from that. The old school metal we played in 83 was sure fun though!!
The white one was an Aria Pro Urchin. They made one with a gazillion knobs on it too. Was kindaty but cool looking!!
i like the petrol smell and big powerfull engines, not 2 legs powered bikes... bikes are for kids....This was precisely one of the main determining factors in moving there. Mass transportation is everywhere and bikes not only take priority but have their own dedicated lanes and even "highways" which make it quick and easy to get around without a car payment or gas money.
Plus we would qualify for the healthcare simply by being a legal resident. Those are just two of the many reasons....
Supercharged, strapped in and screamingPrecisely the mentality that makes me want to move there.![]()
you keep riding in rain and wind and you soon discover it's not fun. I get that, it's expensive to keep it running, parking, but i will drive the car as long as i will be able. I ride a bike but for fun.Don't get me wrong I love cars. I just hate everything about the practicality of owning and driving, and most importantly, being required to have one in order to function on any basic level in this country.
I've not really been a bike rider since I was 13, but I'm willing to go cold turkey if it means leaving all the aforementioned garbage behind.
Here is an oldie
True:I have not personally known anyone that owns a motorcycle and has not laid one down yet. Literally every single rider I've ever known. It's not a choice, it's inevitability.
Dude I feel ya'! We bought a 121 year coal mining patch house & I swear to God in the year 1900 they must not have invented a level or square yet?Ok, I'm sure it doesn't belong here, but I'm frustrated and I'm taking a break from the frustration.
You see, I don't mind putting in a wood floor, actually I enjoy it. But I sure as heck don't like figuring out the layout when nothing is square. In fact, I hate it.
That first board is a dooozie.
Ok, got that off my chest. Rock on!
Ha! the last 3 houses Ive owned were built within the last 30 years....... same deal... rarely level rarely square and plumb --- is a word not even recognized on a construction site these daysDude I feel ya'! We bought a 121 year coal mining patch house & I swear to God in the year 1900 they must not have invented a level or square yet?
I thank you MarkI see that blonde rocker at around 2:30+. I'd recognize that hammer swinging pick attack anywhere.
preach Adriano preach!!! I want to ride a bike with you I go frot you follow, no tele radio conversations!!!! this is my kind of bikes and cars.True:
Ive wrecked................ literally HUNDREDS of times as a youth.
I have issues, aches, pains, ruptured discs ( 3) constant pain in my hands wrists...shoulder--- wrecked several times as an adult ...... I still ride.
-- for some people its just in the DNA -- its not explainable to non riders, and it doesnt have to be.
To be fair Ive also wrecked BMX (pedal) bikes---3 wheelers--- 4 wheelers-- trucks-- snowmobiles and totaled several cars -- Ive found out the hard way how NOT TO DO IT many times now I am a much safer driver.I broke bones in Football-- basketball-- 2 concussions playing BASEBALL --- and skateboarding ....... oh and a bad fracture SNOW (check that @Zzzzz ) skiiing ....
The lovely thing about the age we live in is they make BOTH kinds of bikes -- pedal and engine -- they make busses -- they make Dodge HEllcats with 700 hp stock --- (man I want one of those)
Some folks dont like to drive
Some love it I HAVE to do it for work ...... I did 20,000 miles last year JUST for business -- plus personal, and pleasure.... I drive ..... A LOT --
We all do the voodoo we do ---
I would NEVER push someone to motorcycling -- period -- if they WANT to learn and ask (how not to do it) Ill tell them but I never condone it --
Same with scuba diving (used to scare my grandmother all the time that I scuba dive) --- again, its NOT for everyone
and when either of these activities "scare" me Ill stop.
ANd if someopne is looking to attempt these hobbies.... and wants my honest opinion -- I GIUVE IT--
"If you like it do it -- if it scares you...... maybe look into OTHER hobbies....."
@Yargnad -- I actually have told several NEW riders -- DO NOT BUY A NEW NICE BIKE --- get a P.O.S. because you are GOING TO DROP IT ---- your GOING TO WRECK IT --- LEARN on a junker --- then go gtet a GOOD new bike after you have some skills.
1 guy I told that too never bought any bike.
3 others listened and did drop the first one at least once -- and then got nice ones.....and thanked me later.

Never rode a motorcycle in my life other than cheapass, raggedly little trail motorcycles as a kid that were death traps but went so slow you probably would've gotten more injured on a good mountain bike. But i am guilty of doing consequential things, knowing the outcome, being hurt by said outcome and still going and doing it like a moron.Unpopular opinion: People who claim they can live with the consequences of a severe motorcycle injury (paralysis, disfigurement, etc) are not being honest. What they really mean is that they don't think it will happen to them. I have represented quite a few "ride or die" motorcyclists that quit after the incident for which they needed my services.
I wish my opinion was more correct. Ive been seriously injured body while body boarding in dangerous waves and tides ( not the simple lying down sort of ride but actively cutting back and forth, trying to do tricks). I do an insanely stupid job that has injured me many times and some, leading to hospital visits ( electrician) but i still do it every day. No one ever credited me with common sense lol
But i agree, one bad accident changes perspectives sometimes
Appreciate it my friend! I live by the idiots creed:" When you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough" lolI wish my opinion was more correct. Stay safe brother
