Why don't I have one of these "Hurdy Gurdy's" yet?

Holy Feces... that was really good...![]()
Talk about getting destroyed... Jeez...

Okay...WHY have I never listened to this guy before?
I’ve got some catching up to do.
I guess I’m gonna be binge-watching Eric Johnson videos this weekend!
Good tune Witty Smitty...I bet you can play that on your over-quacked Stratocaster guitar with a whammy bar.

You flatter me, Black Attack!
No, I can’t play that. I’ve never even heard it before.
And, I’m actually trying to dial back the quack.
I remember when I was a kid watching the USA network before it got big and was kind of a cult classic type channel. That video used to play every once in a while - I've told people about for years and they'd look at me like I was nuts. So, it came up again and I posted it here. See, it exists![]()
REALLY come on now, WHEN I was a kid we had cable TV just to get 5 channels. Broadcast channels from Balti/DC area
I noticed you have an obsession with the pick up heights on your Strat. It's a good thing that the heights of the pick ups on a Strat are easily adjustable. My method is to press the high E string on the 22nd fret and measure at 1/16" from the pole pieces on the pick ups. I measure 1/8" on the low bottom "E" string and then I adjust according to volume when I have the guitar plugged into an amplifier. How do you do yours?

Cable - you must have been rich
We did the whole bunny ears thing, spinning the dial thing to get it to tune in good enough to see here. But, we were only about 10 miles or so from the local broadcasting I guess. The USA network used to play the Jamaican Sun splash stuff, Andy Worhol, and other oddball stuff too...
