Great news!
Oh yes. Not cancer so lower dose. Saw doc today again (every Tues) and he once again said later she will get some fatigue but past that sees very little chance of any other side fx. Hard to beat. Could possibly be some hair thinning that will come back.Mo mojo.
I still have a radiation "exit wound" at the nape of my neck, opposite from where I was shot, where the hair disappeared and only partially came back. And on my left jaw where the rays entered whiskers won't grow, 15 years later. Sounds like she is getting a lot lower dose.
Hers is also spread all around her head as entrances. Each zap hits a small portion of the lesion, the back areas of it are nuked from the backside, right side from the right side etc. So low dose spread around head means no severe entrance area. I suspect that helps too. I am sorry for your ordeal and realize how fortunate we are!Mo mojo.
