The wife's tumour is growing again. Radiation Therapy next.

The wife had a BENIGN brain tumour surgery in 2016 which many of you are aware.
As is often the case, the leftovers are starting to grow again slowly.
So the next step is radiation therapy. Hopefully it kills what is left to prevent it growing again. Will see what it entails end of the month.

And no, you can't convince us to not do it or try something else. There is no other option it is a complex brain tumour growing in a complex part of the brain. More surgery is useless until it grows large enough again to resect more.
Don't want another 15 hour surgery down the road. Radiation is way safer.

Anyone have any experience with brain radiation? Remember it is thankfully not cancer.

Yes. No extra symptoms but seemed a bit larger last MRI.

Sorry to hear, Jethro.

But, yeah, radiation gets a bad rap. My wife had radiation in her hands and feet for a condition called, Dupuytren's Disease. Stopped it in it's tracks.

Keep us informed as to her progress.
