I edited my post. I got a "shorty", a 24.75 scale. This guiitar was a custom order and took 8 months to get!
Worth the wait.
What's the tail piece?

You mean the trem? It is a Tom Anderson Vintage Trem, although I do not think he makes them. The only "mod" I made was adding KTS titanium saddles back in my more gullable days! Tom likes them, not for the metal, but rather the cut of the groove. He now offers similar ones in a more affordable metal!Worth the wait.

Wow!! Too cool and a nice looking ax!

A quality guitar with a beautiful finish. Nice!Yesterday, Got a little more time getting acquainted with the Ibanez AS73 (2005 or 6 I think), A2 magnets in the stock pickups.
The nut is a little high and pulls the first few frets a wee sharp.
I have bone blanks to try my first nut fab, but I will sand the bottom down a bit when time allows for now.
i like it a lot.

Now that sounds fun! Mixing and matching gear leads to so many unexpected and often worthy results. I am finally getting a chance to do this with heads and cabs.I played my EBMM Y2DSM through board # 3 into my 1965 Blackface Deluxe today.
It sounded really good and then I realized that I have never played through that gear set before.
Then I realized there must be bunches of gear combinations I have not experienced what with
9 guitars, 3 boards and 8 amplifiers that I actually gig with. Over 200 combinations there!
I have a project now. Gotta see what combinations sound good and what does not.
Gotta maybe make a spread sheet and graphs and the whole 9 yards!
That's beautiful, man...Tonight I adorn my ulimate blues machine...Monday, my CS336

Yes it does look like that! There is no official guide to this "approximation", so it is up to us to figure it outCool guitar. Nice top.
Is that a pterodactyl at the 7th fret?
Looks like one to me.
Tonight I grabbed my PRS "approximation". It is realy a Hadean SIS from Rondo. It came with a severely misleveled fret board, which lead me to pull the frets, level it and do my first re-fret. It has
PRS SC245 Hollowbody pickups, Graph Tech Tusq nut and Jescar Medium-Medium frets
