Which Steve?
(Larry went through a Valley Arts phase as well.)

Nope, it balances quite well.Ray, on the G400, is your neck pick up super loud balance wise up that high?
I like that a lot and it isn't black ;-)

You have a standing invitation and a warm amp waiting for you Sir. Come plug one in!!My Birthday is in August but early gifts

Who are you quoting?"Hey Man! Well, I retired the Valley Arts stuff almost 20 years ago. They sold out the L.A. business to Samick and I just was not impressed with the quality.
As it turns out, the guy that actually made my Valley Arts guitars was Dudley Gimpell, and he left Valley Arts for MusicMan. He made most of my Valley Arts guitars, if not all of them - The Robot, the Sunburst etc., All by the same luthier!! It was easy to get what I wanted from MusicMan and they make a far better guitar for sure.
I still have a few of the Valley Arts guitars. I kept the Robot because it's a one of a kind thing and I still prefer EMG pick-ups over anything else. Remember I used to have the Floyd Rose system on all my guitars, but then MusicMan came up with some kind of lockless tremelo system and it just works fantastically.
Seriously, though the MusicMan is the best guitar ive ever had..."
