The witch hats look proper on a P-90 SG. I also love them on my '69 Standard. They just seem, right. And they are excellent when blindly trying to adjust volume and tone. The knurled top is great for control.Yesterday evening seemed the time to do a cleaning, oiling of the fretboard, restringing, and super slight modification to one of my favorite SGs…I’ve been playing it a lot lately.

One little change…I thought it would improve tactile control. So far, so good.
Exactly why I swapped out the top hats. Diggin’ it so far. Been riding the volume and tone pots lately. And they are excellent when blindly trying to adjust volume and tone. The knurled top is great for control.
Excellent sir! I was just debating what bass to switch in for this evening’s armchair session…tough call.So today I most likely spent more time with the bass than I have in the last 10 years combined. It was time. It missed me.

Easy choice for me. I only have one. Bought sometime in the 90’s. It’s really the guitar I should have concentrated on rather than guitar. But it is what it is. Working on a piece for Brad’s latest challenge and well…. It was just time to get it out and get serious.Excellent sir! I was just debating what bass to switch in for this evening’s armchair session…tough call.

That ought to get the job done.Well….i see it’s a busy evening of adornments…
I went with the other big “G”, Gladiator…and the heaviest object in the universe…T-40, for the bottom end.
