Lately, its only these two guitars, tuned separately for the setlist requirements.
First up, the Les Paul Copy i traded a 2017 Gibson SG T-Series to Adrian (@esge) back in 2018.
This guitar is dimensionally perfect in every respect regarding scale length, bridge placement and fret-to-fret placement.
I earned enough working professionally with this guitar to buy a new 2021 Gibson Les Paul 50's Standard Gold Top.
It's fully copper shielded (including the switch wire rout) and features a 21 tone Jimmy Page wire harness, courtesy of Jersey Shore Guitar Garage, an 'Afterburner' bridge pickup and a '1959' neck pickup, courtesy of PlanetTone, Grover Tuners and a Gotoh aluminum bridge and tailpiece.
This guitar is always in Eb tuning, unless the song requires lower tunings.
Next is the 2021 Gibson Les Paul 50's Standard Gold Top with its huge 1.715" wide neck.
Its totally stock with a factory installed BB3/BB1 combo, factory aluminum bridge and tailpiece. Its used for standard and Drop-D tunings.
Amp wise, here at home, I'm constantly using Guitar Rig 6 for practice through headphones. This not only allows me to jam along to videos and recordings (there are no online tutorials for the Halford/Fight music, so it has to be picked put all by ear) but also allows me to start recording at the push of a button, anytime the creative urge strikes.
Playing out, i always use the only speaker cabinet that i own - a custom 2x12 with Celestion Copperback 250's, and most of the time, I'm using this old relic, 1993 Marshall Valvestate Bi-Chorus 200, skillfully modded and maintained by our own esteemed
