The Muse I Adorn

Playing some low end tonight…since the heavy meal;)
First…I’m preparing this one as a holiday gift to someone who has expressed an interest in learning an instrument….

Been trying to figure out why I never actually use a whammy bar/Bigsby in a song, and had a super slack night at work so figured trying to learn pseudo echoes version of funky town might be a good way to start. So pulled out the trusty Danelectro Hodad to give it a try, split the coils and put in out of phase mode.... Wow, why have I ignored this guitar? Definately not good for playing acdc, but sounds killer for some songs for sure!IMG_20210703_204353.jpg

WoooHoo! V night for me!
Tonight, I surfed a bunch of new (to me) profiles on the Kemper…mainly stuck to high gain, Mesa and Friedman…some good….some… not so good. I even used the Stetsbar!

The Manlius pickup set, in this V, is outstanding! Neck- hot “Fat Goat”, wound to match the bridge “Asphalt”.
Super-versatile! Crazy killer!
