Old church hymn from the late 1800s. Envisioned clean verse and gritty chorus. Which can still work once I figure out how to count to nine. Fun song on an organ and congregation doing four part harmony.

Strings were pretty beat and the relief needed adjusting since the summer.

Had power off in the studio yesterday doing some electrical work. Looked over at the 77 Takamine sitting on a stand and thought, hmmm, unplugged. So I played it for quite a while, gave my fingers a workout.

Ain’t that the truth. After playing nothing but electrics for months…. I’ll grab the Ovation and remember why I should play it more often. Takes a day or two for fingers to recover.

Got some stick time on the P90s through the JCM800 today.

No real changes here. Got the cellar cleaned up some, and gave myself a bit more space to play. Also made it so I can plug into different amps without moving stuff.

edit: after looking at this picture, I guess that one can tell that I do enjoy this guitar, just by looking at the pickguard.
