playing the Peavey Red Devil-- this thing is -- in a word AMAZING-- the neck is THIN narrow and slender (it is one of the MOST effected basses I own by climate-- humidity etc. --string changes took me a coupole years to master as the neck would bend and change in just minutes without string tension
BUT-- like a FLOYD -- when you get it "balanced" right ----and running ---- tis pure magic-- lowest action of any bass I onw coupled with the fastest thinnest neck makes this my "Ferrari".....I dont drive it every day -- but MAN when I do .....its ALWAYS special

1991 Peavey Unity neck through bass....thin contoured body-- light fast BOOM machine

Tonight is bringing the BOOM! Swamp-Merlot-Burst style!

Tonight is also a night for experimenting with different things to break in the Weber speakers in the Kustom cab....Tonight I learned that the homebrew 18watt TMB head can bring the boom too! It’s a low gain circuit, with lots of clean headroom, and has always been a great pedal platform. It did not disappoint with a bass at all! Surprise!....it sounds killer!
I may actually try this rig on a recording soon....

literally AMAZING -- it nails SVT ish tone -- if you mess with the gain knob you can get a nice TUBEish break up when you dig in -- cleans when you dont .......
I have been more impressed with this stupid little "toy" amp than SEVERAL "real" amps

playing this crappy -- dead toned no account P.O.S. Gibson again --- its f-ing HORRID -- you all should THANK ME for throwing myself on this HORRID grenade of a bass.......solid maple neck & fret board -- perfect straight string through tuners unique "buck n a 1/2" tone quirky Norlin BOLT NECK --- (the HORROR) construction.........

yep "powering through and saving the world from CRAP Cheesy bass guitars----- "
