I now see them used online for 700.00-800.00..........

I love these stripped down, no nonsense rocker type SG's. Damn it, I'm going home to adorn thisIMG_20181202_154443.jpg
through thisIMG_20191127_204955.jpg
Not something I've done before (play at home through this amp), but with all this COVID-19 lockdown isolation :poo: going on, the neighbours (& probably people upto a few blocks away) could do with some entertainment. They're gunna love it. Cheers

So...I’ve been kind of boring on the muse front. I keep picking up my crescent moon SG.
But I’ve been mixing up the amps on duty.
Today I put up the oldest amp I have, that I actually bought “new”. I’d say “I wonder why I ever got another amp”, but I know that the big reason is that this thing is.....massive sounding...too big for many of the dives we gigged at...downsizing was kinda necessary.

I never realized how nicely the dirt channel cleans up with the guitar volume knob....like...really nice.
These need to be set on fire, in the boat, with me for the journey to Valhalla. :dood:

I can see wanting to play that gutiar a lot!!

Sometimes you have to circle back around to appreciate a piece of gear!

Oh yeah, definitely. I really retired the Laney, not only for size, but to be sure I would be able to have days like today. Days where I just plug it in after a long hiatus, let the caps and tubes warm up for a bit, and rediscover an old friend.
I was young and stupid when I got it, and now that I’m old and dumb...I can appreciate it even more.
