OK. I will keep it as-is for my minimalist days!I actually think that guitar looks 100% perfect as is.
Here we have a great guitar, despite the fact the manufacturer forgot to put in a second (or third) pickup. Worse, they forgot to make the one pickup it does have adjustable. I love it anyway though!!

I changed the Robotuners after they died--- and the pickup was swapped to adjustable screws and a pup with a little more BIGHT otherwise its original/.....though I am contemplating a Lea Quan bridge........or perhaps a resomax.......
This is waiting for me later on. Epi G400 with BKP Mule neck and Riff Raff bridge. I glossed up the satin finish.

I love these stripped down, no nonsense rocker type SG's. Damn it, I'm going home to adorn this

Good God man! That’s a shiny SG!I‘m working on setting up an SG, with the Tone-Pros studs I got from Cadorman. Wish I was playing it instead. I‘ve been fixing stuff since 7:30 this morning, and could use a break (pun intended).

I can see wanting to play that gutiar a lot!!So...I’ve been kind of boring on the muse front. I keep picking up my crescent moon SG.
But I’ve been mixing up the amps on duty.
Today I put up the oldest amp I have, that I actually bought “new”. I’d say “I wonder why I ever got another amp”, but I know that the big reason is that this thing is.....massive sounding...too big for many of the dives we gigged at...downsizing was kinda necessary.

I never realized how nicely the dirt channel cleans up with the guitar volume knob....like...really nice.
These need to be set on fire, in the boat, with me for the journey to Valhalla. :dood:
Oh yeah, definitely. I really retired the Laney, not only for size, but to be sure I would be able to have days like today. Days where I just plug it in after a long hiatus, let the caps and tubes warm up for a bit, and rediscover an old friend.I can see wanting to play that gutiar a lot!!
Sometimes you have to circle back around to appreciate a piece of gear!
