What size are on there right now?I think I will seek out the lightest acoustic strings I can find for it, to see if that helps.
I have no idea honestly....Dean Markley lights, most likely...11-52...What size are on there right now?
Oh wow! Your strings are already on the light side. Is the guitar's belly bulge related to any humidity in your area?I have no idea honestly....Dean Markley lights, most likely...11-52...
Very likely, the humidity due to my proximity to a swamp.Oh wow! Your strings are already on the light side. Is the guitar's belly bulge related to any humidity in your area?
My Taylor GS Mini had developed a belly bulge by early 2018. The guitar's stock string gauge was 13's. I downtuned the guitar, dropped some silica gel packs inside the guitar, and put it in its case for a week. After a week the belly bulge had receded. Then I installed a fresh set of 12's and it's been behaving ever since. I prefer 12's on this guitar anyways. YMMV...Very likely, the humidity due to my proximity to a swamp.
I didn’t always run them so light....13s were the norm....then the battle of the bulging belly began.
