The Muse I Adorn

This was my muse today. I had this one out for a bit, just to do a wellness check.

Even though I cant really play it anymore, I get my jollies by caressing and polishing those sensual curves.
Pulling it out of it's fuzzy plush home, hitting a couple of one finger power chords and finding it in perfect tune after many weeks, even with a Bigsby.
It's something that just makes me giddy.
It's my grail. The one that has surpassed all others.

Oooooo pretty. I could just sit and look at that all day.

I have a full set of needle files. Best thing I ever bought for working on guitars.

I used the flat file and the square (4 cornered) file to do this.

Finished it with 800 and 1500 grit wet dry sandpaper. Took about 3 or 4 hours total.
You can take the edge of those, preferably the triangle, to a grinder, so it wont cut into the fretboard.
A proper fret - end dressing file is not prohibitively expensive either.

Was working in the basement yesterday streaming tunes through Alexa. For about 10 minutes after this song was played I was playing this riff over and over in my head. Finally stopped sawing and nailing, washed my hands and picked up this guy and PLAYED that riff for another 15 minutes.
