Bad news. I suffered a terrible incident that make me feel very sad. No sound on my Astoria a few days ago. It's not two years old. I bought in UK. I asked if it still has warranty. Let's see because brexit, I don't know. It blows HT fuse. I did some tests, no bad tubes. It's the amp. It smelled burned.

AXL Jr., built from a bare husk.
The cavities and big holes were drilled and the frets slots were cut.
I filled in the rest of the blanks.

A wholesaler bought up their remaining inventory when they went belly up.
I got some of the other bits, including the frets, bridge, and and pre-made harness with CTS pots and Orange caps from there too.

It now has a Dimarzio Super distortion, and Grover tuners, both sourced used.
It plays very well.

I got the VHT chassis, populated board, and PT for my 18w TMB build from there too.

Weapon of choice tonight. Been a couple weeks. Been neglecting it while playing the Strat. Figured it might be getting lonely.

After only playing ibanez the last few months, I went to the shorter scale gibson.

At first the difference in neck feel is shocking, but I quickly get used to it. I sometimes forget how good this guitar sounds.

Talented musicians such as myself, can suck at playing guitar on many makes and models. What can i say, It's a gift.
