The Dunlop Family

I misread the title as Dunlap.
As in my belly dunlapped over my belt.

Then I misread bultaco (I do remember those)
as Bull Tacos and now I am hungry, or maybe because I am already hungry.

I had what was maybe the flu last week, but no fever.
Think I'm still a tad "off".
 
I did the same and it's hard to tell if the bad knees and wrists and problems with arthritis that I have now are from the motorcycling career the dirt bike riding hockey snow skiing football basketball or the three cars that I've totaled in my life I just tell people but all my aches and pains and problems are paying the debt from an active youth

You and me both, brother. Three decades of dirt. Owned one of each bike, broke one of each bone. Quit guitar for 20 years because I broke my finger in a race. I can go on ALLL DAY!!' Love the hill climbs.

Yes my friend, those pictures you show sure bring back memories to me. But I must say I don't miss riding any longer, had my fun.

I used the dunlops for a while. Tried the black tortex, and liked it. Never tried the red jazz.
One day I was buying strings and I saw the Gravity Razor. It said "hand made", and It was expensive for one pick. What the heck, gave it a shot. Worth every penny. Lasts for months. I like the looks, the feel and the tone. I'm a believer.

As for the riding. Took a while, but I'm totally done. Chapter over. Once I get the energy, I'm selling everything that's left, and getting a guitar.

Sysco, after seeing that Metzeler picture you posted, the last thing on my mind is Dunlop, Metzeler,Continental, Pirelli etc.

Although for my rides I have used Conti's Metz, and Avon.

For my guitar picks, I use Fender but really liked some that Smitty had.

I have quite an assortment of guitar picks. I've been collecting them since the late 1980's. I like the Jim Dunlop picks but my all time favourite that I bought back in 1988 and I still have is a solid brass pick called TeckPick. I get really good tones playing with this pick and you can do string scrapes with the cut-out corners on the pick or the two-handed tapping technique with this pick. It's a must have for your guitar pick collection.:wink:

Tried the Repotone.........too big.......
on bass I NEVER use a pick (just wrong ) yes Gene Simmons is WRONG lol

for decades I never played a guitar without one-----on guitar I am actually now TRYING to use pics less and fingers more........I noodled all mu Sunday noddles yesterday sans plectrum .......and it was good....
 
I have been playing with Dunlop Gel picks. The red clear ones are the heavy rated. They don't make the clicking sound on acoustic guitar strings that reminds me of poorly fitting dentures. I feel like taking their stupid teeth and grinding them to fit. The picks last until stolen or lost.
