I have tried many picks.I know there are many who like them. The ones that I have come to really like and use are these 3. These 3 are the Jazziii pics. The Red one is fairly stiff yet slightly flexible, The black one Tortex is firm but has flexibility this one is the one I use the most. The Black one with the little bumps on it for better grip is made from carbon fibre, its very stiff and has lots of bite. If you like the red ones , you might find you will like these as well. If you like Jazziii picksDSC00160.JPG

I was thinking something TOTALLY different!
The Dunlop motorcycling dynasty: Life, death and glory on the roads

Smell of PEtrol and speed on my mind after returning from a spirited romp (in 81 degree temps) ripping up the back roads of Swampneckistan.

I just bought a Shinko Tire for the front of the Tiger..........been using them about ---- well.......er....6 or 7 years now --- they dont last as long as the Dunlops--- but as I am not putting as many miles on anymore---- I can replace a complete set --- installed.....for what 1 rear Dunlop costs. (190.00 for a rear tire)
Set of Shinkos---- 140.00 ......take rims to local motorcycle shop -- 60.00 to mount and balance 2 tires........

WHen I rode Speed Triples and HIGH OCTANE crotch rockets.......I didnt skimp on rubber --- no "guessing" if a tire will hold at over 100 MPH on Alligator Alley--- but now I am just putting about the local countryside.............somewhat. ;)

:D

Shinko tires, Pirelli all the way, only problem is when they go flat they go wap, wap, wap.

As a Triumph Riding Half Italian (and Half British) Redneck Swampthing.........I would be offended --- if it wasnt FUNNY ;)

Pirelli is "grippy" but they didn't last for crap on the Speed Triple
had one of these

That the previous owner (he was the owner of Inverness Cycle Center) had "tweaked" as his track day bike......it was "technically" not street legal.....

I called it WIDOW MAKER it hated being on 2 wheels........but man what a FRIGGIN RUSH .,.......
420lbs
186 HP fuel injected Triple cyclinder
Somedays I wish I had it back .........other days I know I would've killed myself years ago----if I had kept it--- was truly track ready-- you had to be "on" when riding it....not like my cruisers or the current Triumph Tiger.....if you where not 100% "in the game" this thing would bite you --- case in point the guy I sold it too---with HEAVY HEAVY warnings ---- continued --- BE CAREFULS--- et all..... laid it down a week after purchase--- showing off with friends.........it bit his arse.......I got the chance to say I told you SO---dumb arse--- man I miss that black evil beeotch ---
Perhaps I need another ......in nuclear green!

DAMN CHAS! --- my HD dumped me in the middle of Pensacola Fl. (total mechanical error-- was recalled several years later --after a few people died)
I have owned 32 bike in my life ---- only ONE was a Harley----- and there's only 1 brand I would NEVER own again------HARLEY-- I think a Sporster is one of the most beautiful bikes on the planet--- but Im not willing to die for beauty ---

Bultacos.......oh I so wanted a bultaco..
Had Suzuki Honda and Kawasaki dirt bikes.....
One of my friends had an INDIAN minindirtbike back in......my ...70 something

Husqavarna makes a mean sirt machine as well.
I had great luck with Honda's......takk about abuse......those are the TIMEX of motorcycles

My riding days are over now, I had a lot of fun started dirt riding when I was 11. Over the years it has caught up with me a bit. When you dirt ride your involved in climbing hills, jumping over creeks, and just running flat out. I have a few stories I could share, but I will spare you or I would be on this thing all day. Some good memories and some well you know.

Husqvarna makes good machines. To me Honda's are the cream of the crop, they are so reliable , I have had 3 Honda's and a Yamaha.
