Thanks

I would highly recommend the BE-OD pedal to anyone who wants 80s metal distortion. It is worth the price much like a Diezel VH4-2 is worth the price especially when you consider the costs of the pre-amp they are emulating.

I sold my EXH Metal Muff pedal with Top Boost (awesome pedal for a variety of metal including Sabbath).

The BE-OD has a gain trim pot inside the pedal. You can open it up and like a bias dial turn the gain up or down. So A+ there.
With your experience from tone chasing with distortion/overdrive pedals, have you ever tried the Bogner Ecstasy Red?

And... Welcome to TTR...

Unfortunately, I haven't however I would say this. When I see amp manufacturers also making a distortion pedal in the flavor of one of their own amps, I usually pay attention because those types of distortion pedals are candidates for ones that blur the line between pedal and pre-amp.

He was tall and strong, could sing a song
That would delight your heart to hear.
His eyes were bright, his step was light,
And his voice was sweet and clear.
He could handle a spade or court a maid,
The fairest of them all.
Ah, but he was inclined to leave behind
This girl from Donegal.

How I wished in vain he did remain,
But see how he sailed away
To a distant home, far o'er the foam,
In a foreign land to stay.
He would rather have toiled in his own native soil,
But the wages they were too small.
That's why he did part and break the heart
Of this girl from Donegal.

The weather was bad and my love was sad
As he had to sail away.
He left me here to pine and fear,
Till he'd return someday,
But if in time he does not return,
He need not come at all.
Oh, why did he part and break the heart
Of this girl from Donegal ?

WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup... :celebrate:

Got one of those from Santa Claus about 3 or 4 Xmas's ago. Rarely ever use it, but that goes for just about any pedal I have. I was hoping I could hear from any TTR-menite that has some experience with this particular Bogner pedal.

That Herbert is the other amp Diezel does as a pre-amp pedal also. The VH4-2 and the Herbert pedal.

I have been following John 5 since I watched this...

I really like that amp in YT clips, my band mate had Dicizel pedal cant remember which one it was really big one, sounded badazz.
