Hey gang…

Can you recommend me looper pedal please?

What Im after is, I need to go from clean, dirt, solo with one switch.

In front of amp i have od and drop tuner, noise gate.

Fx loop

I have delay, chorus, eq and fx on/off pedal.

I want to be abele to go from od, to clean with chorus and delay without od, and back to do od ( rhythm channel) with one switch and kick in solo with eq and delay.

I hope I make sense what Im trying to say.

Loop 1 clean + chorus + delay
Loop 2 od no delay no chorus
Loop 3 od + eq + delay

ive been looking at patch komander but not sure if its right one.

Thanks in advance.

If money is no object from my very quick research I found these units. Several of them will do exactly what you want to do. The smart guys we have in TTR most likely have workable solutions that are way less expensive.

Do you mean something like this?

Looked each of these up @Ramo. They’re stupid expensive, so hopefully the folk here have a workable solution for you that won’t have you taking out a 2nd mortgage.

Aaaaaahhhh….I found the Hotone “Kommander” you were on about…so yeah…that is what you were asking about.
Never really went that path…when I moved from midi controlled rack mount fx, back to pedals, I was looking to keep things simple…

I was curious about going that path at one point, but never bothered. Sorry.

At that price, I’d give it a go.

Problem is: How to handle multiple loops for multiple pedals in the fx loop *while still maintaining control of the pedals before the amp input. This requires some forethought, prior to choosing the unit.

So…it looks like the VooDoo Labs may get the job done in the desired way. It has an “insert” feature that would allow splitting the bank of loops between loops 6 & 7. @Ramo could use loops 1-5(or 6) for his effects loop pedals, and loops 7 & 8 for any pedals he wants controlled between the guitar, and the amp input….

Amp effects loop send would go to the main input, and “insert send” on the looper would go to the amp effects loop return.
Any effects loop pedals would go in loops 1-6.
Guitar would go into “insert return”, “output” on the looper pedal would go to the amp input.
This would provide two loops(7 & 8) for pedals out front(OD etc).

Alright…for clarity on my silly thought process on this…

In front of amp i have od and drop tuner, noise gate.

Fx loop

I have delay, chorus, eq and fx on/off pedal.

I want to be abele to go from od, to clean with chorus and delay without od, and back to do od ( rhythm channel) with one switch and kick in solo with eq and delay.

I hope I make sense what Im trying to say.

Loop 1 clean + chorus + delay
Loop 2 od no delay no chorus
Loop 3 od + eq + delay
In front of amp:
Guitar to noise gate…from noise gate to PX-8 “Insert Return”.
PX-8 loop 7 gets the drop tuner..loop 8 gets the OD(or vice versa…your preference).
PX-8 “Output” goes to front of amp.

Amp effects send goes to PX-8 “Input”…
PX-8 loop 1 gets delay…loop 2 gets chorus…loop 3 gets EQ(or whatever order makes sense to you…that’s how you listed them) you will not need the “fx on/off pedal” anymore(?)
PX-8 “Insert Send” goes to amp effects return.

So…now you can make:
Preset 1 - “clean” = loop 1 and loop 2 on…all others off.
Preset 2 - “dirt” - loop 8 on(OD)…all others off.
Preset 3 - “solo” - loop 8 on(OD), loop 1 on(delay), loop 3 on(EQ)…all others off.

Of course, you may want to switch the fx pedals order to suit your desired end results.
You can also make more presets for other situations…using the drop tuner and stuff. Banks of 4 in preset mode, up to 36 preset combinations.

Edit: If I was still playing live shows, I’d probably be tracking my shipment by now… ;)
