So cheap! Specs are nearly the same as the nux 2.4 set and less than half the price!
They came in today, I charged them both ( receiver and transmitter) for about 15 minutes and then they were fully charged.
Ran out and plugged them in:
SOooooooo bottom line is..... They do work just fine.
Good enough for this neanderthal and his metal axes and amps!
A true test with the phaser phone! That was funny as hell.
Steve. I have the same exact ones. For the price they are pretty good.
I also have the XVive which are about $100 more. I prefer the xvive.
I think I did a comparison of the two once but it may not have been here.
I agree the Joyo wireless for the price are great.
The battery life on them is awesome at around 10 hours for the transmitter. Longer for the receiver (it doesn’t use as much juice). The 2.4 GHz have great range even through walls. With no lag. They sound as good as most cables do.
The XVive have less than 4 hours of battery life (closer to 3 for the transmitter) and do everything the Joyo does. Here is where the XVive shine. Little to no noise. I haven’t hooked up a cable to my guitars or basses in almost 2 years.
Also there are times the Joyo add almost a “staticky” noise to certain notes. And at times enhance noise.
When I did my test I wasn’t as extreme and didn’t go running through the streets of my town. (They’d lock me up in a nice padded room I think)
My final Xvive vs Joyo wireless showed the Xvive was only superior in sound quality. Otherwise the Joyo was equal to or better in every other test. For home use, both are excellent. I wouldn’t use either one at a live gig though.
The xvive don’t last long enough unless you charge them between sets and the Joyo have a tendency to add or enhance noise. The Xvive actually reduce hum compared to cables, and make you want to sing “there are no strings on me” like Pinocchio.
I’d doubt they could do anything to improve the sound quality of
@Headache ”s phaser phone though. (Funny how that stuck)
