So cheap! Specs are nearly the same as the nux 2.4 set and less than half the price!

They came in today, I charged them both ( receiver and transmitter) for about 15 minutes and then they were fully charged.

Ran out and plugged them in:

SOooooooo bottom line is..... They do work just fine.
Good enough for this neanderthal and his metal axes and amps!

Hahaha I loved the run outside! Now that's metal for the whole surrounding community!

Ha ha ya both my neighbors are in their 80s and I bet they friggin hate my loud guitar sometimes ha ha ha they are cool about it though, never heard any complaints.
The kids 5 houses down the street have told me they can hear it sometimes though.... So I know the close houses can!

For less than $35 I think it's a steal from hell. Seems to work just fine and sounds great, no dropping out. Joyo is rapidly creeping into some serious territory as a powerhouse FX maker and the costs are unbelievable

Agreed!
I've got a couple of their amps, and a couple pedals, and now these.
I love the amps, pedals were just so so, two were ok and one was crap, and these so far are dynamite considering the price.

Maybe, they’re deaf and turn off their hearing aids when you play.

I have this too.

In the main jamroom that I take music most seriously in, these don't work. I haven't been able to figure out why just yet. It's frustrating.

In the other group of dudes I play with (and a different spot entirely) this system is totally awesome. I can walk around freely and no worries. In this place I don't have to have the amp up loud at all, as I'm going into the amp head, which is plugged into the BOSS TAE which then runs directly to the PA/FoH, with some 4x12 as mostly a monitor at that point, if I want it. No extra noise or anything.

In the more serious, dedicated-to-my-own-project-kinda, main jam spot, this system absolutely sucks. Not sure what kinda garbage it's picking up, but I cannot tolerate it. I will use a damned cable all day long over the noise I get from it in that location.

Weird. The noise seems to come strongest when I'm relying on volume lol go figure

Otherwise very, VERY liberating to be able to untether for a change.

A true test with the phaser phone! That was funny as hell.

Steve. I have the same exact ones. For the price they are pretty good.
I also have the XVive which are about $100 more. I prefer the xvive.
I think I did a comparison of the two once but it may not have been here.

I agree the Joyo wireless for the price are great.
The battery life on them is awesome at around 10 hours for the transmitter. Longer for the receiver (it doesn’t use as much juice). The 2.4 GHz have great range even through walls. With no lag. They sound as good as most cables do.

The XVive have less than 4 hours of battery life (closer to 3 for the transmitter) and do everything the Joyo does. Here is where the XVive shine. Little to no noise. I haven’t hooked up a cable to my guitars or basses in almost 2 years.

Also there are times the Joyo add almost a “staticky” noise to certain notes. And at times enhance noise.

When I did my test I wasn’t as extreme and didn’t go running through the streets of my town. (They’d lock me up in a nice padded room I think)

My final Xvive vs Joyo wireless showed the Xvive was only superior in sound quality. Otherwise the Joyo was equal to or better in every other test. For home use, both are excellent. I wouldn’t use either one at a live gig though.
The xvive don’t last long enough unless you charge them between sets and the Joyo have a tendency to add or enhance noise. The Xvive actually reduce hum compared to cables, and make you want to sing “there are no strings on me” like Pinocchio.
I’d doubt they could do anything to improve the sound quality of @Headache ”s phaser phone though. (Funny how that stuck)

Yea, a wireless is essential, even if the amp is right next to you. I played in a band with one even though my amp was on top of me. Distance is irrelevant for me though since I'm probably the worse person on the planet when it comes to twisting cables. You would think I stood on a merry go round all night. Real bad.

I dig, it totally eliminates the chance of stepping on the cord while playing.
That never ends well. Broken plugs or worse.
Even when you're not playing, some buffoon could trip on the cord introducing your beloved guitar to the floor.
But if there is no cord...

Brilliant!

I have a Lekato wireless that I have been using both at home and in the rehearsal space and it has been flawless so far. It is the 5.8GHz model and I have been very pleased so far. I believe it was about $80CDN when I bought it.

If you use a Well-Hung guitar strap, the radio signal goes for about 6 miles...
