String brake in bridge esp ltd snakybte

Another easy option is a set of welder's tip-cleaning files.
You can get a whole set of various different sizes for just a couple of dollars; they fold out like a pocket knife. I think mine were $4.99 at Harbor Freight.
Good for smoothing burrs in bridge and enlarging nut slots. But I wouldn't use them to cut new nut slots from scratch.

Funny enough the set i bake are Ernie Ball 10-46, i think its problem at the saddle , ill take it to the tech his very good. I changed many sets ad its getting annoying and expensive.

I buy them from ebay ill be hones i have feeling they are fake strings. Need to buy frop music shop and see if it happens again.

It's not the strings, it's a sharp edge on the saddle that makes it break.
It's really common for guitars to have UN-finished details, and a luthier has to set it up.
Sometimes just 600 sandpaper will take the sharp edge off enough to stop the string from breaking.

Raise the tail piece up, to decrease the sharp angle of the string.

But there are also poorly designed saddles, and the ESP LTD is known for munching strings.
So change to a better saddle.

You would be surprised: That Nylon saddles get a better sound, and better control of sustain / less microphonic feedback.

thanks guys for sharing your knowledge and helping me out.

will this fit my bridge? String Saver Originals Tune-O-Matic Gotoh

not sure how much will they charge me for shipping/taxes....

edit

i spoke to guitar shop i bought it from its still under warranty, so i started processes for them to repair it. for time being i let them repair and when i have some cash ( work is slow at the moment) ill upgrade the bridge.

Hi guys

I noticed i keep braking same string same place new set of strings. At first i thought it was doggy set but it keeps happening so im guessing something sharp on the bridge where string sits. I use old string to file it tiny bit as i dont have tools after that it still broke. I did some search and found that esp ltd bridges have this problem. Have to take it to tech and it will cost me at least £50 to properly set it up...:BH::BH::BH::BH:

I broken strings all my live, nylon strings, steel strings, niquel ...
When they are worn I broke it easy. It was a good reason to learn how set up properly all type guitar.
Good luck!
