Burgundy sounds good.I was planning on ordering a purple but my mower had a spindle go out and ate the belt so ordered those instead. Aslo the Amazonians didn't have a purple, there was a burgundy though.

I did see that, but I really just want the purple to finish the set as I have the everything set in another guitar and an emerald and gold in the sparkly guitar with a lil 59 right now, still pondering it though.

I am this ( fingers 1/2" apart ) to ordering the hot gold hot bridge, the resistance is higher than the purple but the peak freqeuncy and inductance are very close.
I believe it can be done with an extra “hazing agent”

Thank you and the LIl fiddy-9 is a fine pickup, it will end up in something else. Just wanting something a little different for this guitar, also to match the set so to speak. I picked a bad time to get a hair about this as I have decided that all my strats MUST have 22 frets, and I am in the middle of a build, and I want to swap all my saddles out. All while buying new gear to replace what got ruined when my computer and interface got wet from the roof leak.

Because of the noise.
I haven't had any noise from the Strat pickups for well over 30 years, not much before that except in particular venues, like next door to a taxi firm's radio room and a local police station back in the 80s.
