Strat Pickups and why do I hate them?

I haven't had any noise from the Strat pickups for well over 30 years, not much before that except in particular venues, like next door to a taxi firm's radio room and a local police station back in the 80s.

Concur. My Strats pretty much dead nuts quiet.

I think my first great Stratocaster I got in 1984 used is my best sounding guitar last month I was recording a new song I wrote
and had this riff in my head tried my top ten guitars the real 1961 Stratocaster won

I don't know why you don't like them, I love them but then I have played Strats for 50 years now with only (a delay and) an amp...

I think it might be I am so used to humbuckers. I played an American Strat at GC years ago and it had fender Tex mex Pickups. They were pretty good but I really don’t have much time with American Strats. that could be it and there are a lot of types is Strat pickups.
