Strap locks

I think the Ibanez guitar strap buttons are a great idea and keeps your strap in place very securely.

I'm not knocking any of the other methods, I just prefer the simplicity of the Grolsch type and I'm a cheap bastard (mostly out of necessity).
I think most of us agree we see the need for something more secure than just the strap on the button.

I have encountered Gibson style buttons that only had a small grooved area.
Not groovy baby.

This makes it hard for the washer to get a good grab around the knob end of the button.

FYI. I have extra locks (for the strap) in chrome, black and gold if anyone needs them for their alternate strap. Since I have a bunch (not sure how many I can spare exactly) and the offer is open to every regular member, and I have no idea what I am getting myself into, I will ask for actual shipping cost.

First come first serve. Chili, IOU a set since I learned you cannot ship them in a plain envelope and they got lost!

Nice gesture Ray!
Session 5, that locking strap looks like a winner too.
I would be willing to send out some Grolsch washer/ seals, but it may take a while to build up some inventory

First of all, I think I get extra points for resurrecting a four-year old thread!

But, I recently just started using these - Grover GP800 Strap Locks.

I only began using them because my White Falcon came with a gold set of these. I've come to like them quite a bit.

Since then, I have put a nickel set on my Strat and a black set on my Jackson. I may get more of the nickel sets for my other guitars.

They have been very reliable on my guitars.
