So, now im genuinely scared and concerned

Mike all the best to you and your family brother, I have been interacting with the public and only a handful of coworkers, so far so good, but the thought of bringing it home to my family scares the crap out of me.

I appreciate that my friend! So far, i feel ok, havent shown any known symptoms really. Called and a scheduled a test for Saturday, which is the absolute earliest i can take one to get a more accurate result. Hopefully i get cleared and everything was just a big precaution!

On a side note, i had mentioned my boss was asking why I didnt just go and work 2hrs away on a job north from here, because the guy at that job i would be helping " didnt believe in covid anyways". Yeah well i called that very same coworker and told him about being exposed and what the boss said: he told me in direct terms " Nothing personal to you, but keep that crap down there if you were around it! I got a wife and 5 kids and we dont want it!"

So my boss had lied and tried to send me up there without the other guy knowing i had been exposed and was willing to risk his health too. Great guy huh? Lol

I love those double deckers. We rode around on one one day for a few hours just for the hell of it around London. Underground ticket/Oyster card worked on those too and its cheaper than a tour lol

Thank you my friend! Im actually getting ready to drive to my doctor right now to get a test. They said they can do both a normal and rapid together, since this was healthcare related, giving me a quicker answer but also testing more accurately with the other. Ill still maintain the quarantine rules until the second one checks out.

Symptom wise, i suppose i feel ok, ive been kinda tired and sore but in fairness, that could be where im sitting and staying in one area of the house this entire time mostly, keeping myself from the family lol that part has been the worst really. I wear a mask at all times indoors if my home, scrub my hands religiously and carry a can of lysol around anywhere im at to TRY to keep this down where i live in a single story home with a wife and kids

I too work in and around construction and outside sales-- I travel hundreds to THOUSANDS of miles a week-- I come in contact with DOZENS and DOZENS of people some weeks--I did 4 site walks and "onsites" last week alone 2 in Tampa, St Pete and Sarasota --

Many sites I am on have 100-300 people "mulling" about--- only "facilities" are port-a-lets--- I mean its CONSTRUCTION people it aint clean -- sanitized or "friendly" environments at times-- I and our entire crew do the same or more----

And well Im not bragging -- or tempting fate but-- knock on wood and thank the heavens --- none of us have had any issues what so ever and we have not missed a day of work since Jan 1 --- some weeks working 7 days straight ---
