So here we go again.....

That’s good news!

So, let me ask…how long did it take from exposure time to onset of symptoms?

I confess that I have a personal reason for asking. On Sunday I was exposed to a friend who tested positive yesterday. So, at this point, it has been 48 hours from my exposure.
Oh man im so sorry, i hope all goes good for you!. Just be careful and protect yourself and anyone else you might be close around.

For me? I noticed the first symptoms the next evening with a sinus headache. It kinda just stayed at that until the next evening and i began to feel body aches. So probably, 2-3 days which has been the norm lately with this new version, as it hits a lil faster than the first few. They would take anywhere from 3-7 days, this moves a lot quicker unfortunately

If you begin to suspect anything? You can either get a rapid test from your local pharmacy at home or nearby medical provider if you begin to feel any sort of symptoms. They'll work between 3-6 days pretty accurately if you show ANY of the symptoms. Or you can conversely take a PCR test in addition and it will give you a result within 36 hrs by the provider or county health.

I can tell you from my personal experience that some of the symptoms they listed as not probable initially are now actually showing to be new traits, such as irritated or watery eyes, ear pressure and post nasal drip. Originally, they said these were indicators of allergies or cold but now they're signs of this thing and it happened to me personally. It makes it really tough to distinguish a basic seasonal thing to something more serious.

Best of luck to you my friend, i certainly hope for nothing but the absolute best!

I just want to thank everyone for the kind words and checking in on me, as its more appreciated than any of you folks know. You are all the salt of the earth and good folks, from the bottom of my heart.

But i also want to thank everyone for keeping this so incredibly sincere, civil and respectful to one another without debate and arguments, which i was very hesitant to even post about. But everyone has been fantastic and i am grateful for that beyond words. Thank you all so much!

And to think if ya didn’t play guitar you wouldn’t be here….

Thanks for the info. The asymptomatic thing is something I think about, too. At any rate, I have to get tested. I pretty much have no choice. One of the customers I support won’t let me on site without a negative test. I was supposed to be there today and do some programming work; I had to tell them what‘s going on and postpone my visit.

Anyway, it sounds like you’re improving?

Get well soon Mike, feel better man.
You're in pretty good spirits considering. That counts for a lot when we are forced to deal with adversities in our lives. You got this!
Thanks a million my friend! Keeping a goofy outlook helps a lot times ive found lol

Glad to hear you are getting better Mike. Smitty, best wishes that you get bypassed from the c0vid
Thank you so much my friend! I hope all is well with you and your family!

Hey Mike, Man I hope you feel better soon. I understand what you're going through. Stay strong man!
I appreciate that my friend! I hope things get better your way and im terribly sorry for the disaster that spread thru. You guys are tough as nails down on that end of the country. You ever need anything, ill do whatever i can!

Hey such good news!! Glad you are on the mend, man, coilda been scarier.
Thank you my friend! Im like Hunter S Thompson's description of Dr. Gonzo: " One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die." Lmao

Good luck Mike and get free of your jail! All I can think of is Harry Potter in that freakin closet.
Haha thank you my friend. Hilariously enough, ive been hanging out in my closet/gear space since this all started! Even got the glasses and a scar on my forehead ( not a lightning bolt but an indention from when a kid chucked half of a brick at my skull when i was little, but thats a tale for another day lmao)

I feel a lil better each day and i lucky got scheduled for regeneron tomorrow at 9:45am to give the ol system a boost and lower some of the residual effects. I appreciate you asking!

I am so sorry to hear you gotta go thru the scare of this man, with the testing and questions of possibility. I hope nothing but the best for your tests ( which aint it funny how a negative result is always a good thing when it comes to a disease screening but any other time in life, minus/negative is bad? Lol). Just keep your head up and your spirits, all will be good! You got this buddy

Thanks, Dude!

Actually, I’m not scared. It’s more the nuisance factor of it…just kind of irritating.

But, if I do get sick, there will be sort of a twist of irony to it…being vaccinated but getting sick, anyway!

Ah well, I’m probably gonna call my doctor tomorrow and see what she says.

Good luck my friend! I hope you get a clean score on it. Having your shot gives you great odds and at least in my experience so far, gives you a good boost in fighting it. Fingers crossed for you!

I wanna know what he is using for the voice modification. It must be some kind of pitch shifter/octave thing with distortion. Try that for real and you would be done after 1 song.
Its definitely a high range on that first album with this and "long way to love" lol funny thing is, i remember that by their 2nd album with that singer, "Dizzy" Dean Davidson, that his range wasnt near as high as it was on the first album. They even covered " Hair of the Dog" by Nazareth and he sung kinda subdued and thats a perfect song for his voice if was indeed that high ( kinda like Tom Keiffer from Cinderella). So either there was studio magic going on with the first album or he lost his voice by the follow up. I could believe both cases lol
