So Anyway...

So anyway,

The desire to "create" a guitar is swelling again. Much of the reason that I get new guitars is to put a creative spin on the hardware and make them players. That said, the inability to part with them afterward is making the continued pursuit of this passion difficult. It is like a painter who cannot bear to sell his paintings. Soon you have a room, rather than a wall, of paintings, which is less good.

No solution reached or desired, just pontificating!

What do you have in mind?
Warmoth?
'buckers?
Singles?
How many?
Can I have it when you're done?
All of the above, but usually a pretty guitar from Rondo, something from my draw full of pups and then off to the workshop for a shining and select parts. It is the most fun you can have and without a hangover! And, you know I am looking forward to helping you build a Franken-beast!

The Goldberg Brothers -

The Inventors of the Automobile Air Conditioner

Here's a little fact for automotive buffs, or just to dazzle your friends.
The four Goldberg brothers, Lowell, Norman, Hiram, and Maxwell, invented and developed the first automobile air-conditioner. On July 17, 1946 ,

the temperature in Detroit was 97 F degrees.

The four brothers walked into old man Henry Ford's office and sweet-talked his secretary into telling him that four gentlemen were there with the most exciting innovation in the auto industry since the electric starter.

Henry was curious and invited them into his office

They refused and instead asked that he come out to the parking lot to their car.

They persuaded him to get into the car, which was about 130 F degrees inside, turned on the air conditioner, and cooled the car off almost immediately.

The old man got very excited and invited them back to the office, where he offered them $3 million for the patent.

The brothers refused, saying they would settle for $2 million, but they wanted the recognition by having a label, 'The Goldberg Air-Conditioner,' on the dashboard of each car in which it was installed.

There was no way that Old man Ford was going to put the Goldberg's name on two million Fords.

They haggled back and forth for about two hours and finally agreed on $4 million and that just their first names would be shown.

And so to this day, all Ford air conditioners show --

Lo, Norm, Hi, and Max -- on the controls.

Control yourself !

So anyway,

My kitchen TV started pixilating, image freezing and then going dead periodically. This started out of the blue 2 years ago. Cable box change, wall jack change, new cables and new cable run to the splitter did no good. Ferrite beads helped somewhat. so I got the idea that interference was the issue. Today, I put a 4g filter on the incoming line to the box, which seems to have solved the problem. Coincidentally, about 2 years ago, my area got 4G cell service.

Which side of the Meadowbrook Parkway are you on?
The interference may be due to the interplanetary thing.

But it started 2 years ago and was fine years before that with the same equipment. It stopped tonight due to the filter. Anyway, I am on the North shore.

So anyway, I finally got around to reading these last few pages.
I wont listen to Chili's new crush.
My son started playing in mid March and he's better than me at some things already.
Normally, that kind of stuff doesn't bother me but I just been down lately.
I'll try to write some blues stuff I think.

Ray mentioned the will to create back up the road a piece.
I'm waiting on another AXL husk to populate. The slots are cut but I'll be doing another fret install. The first one came out ok and plays well.
I did learn from my mistakes and hope it translates to an even better build this time around.
Its one of these:
