So Anyway...

So Anywayz, last night I met up with Mr Amp Mad Scientist after recently finding out he's living only 15 minutes from me. He treated me to all the beer and food I could shove down my pie hole. It definitely was a Meeting of the Mindless! I can confirm that AMS is a good dude with a great sense of humor. And yes, we... uhm mainly me, talked a lot of feces about the rest of you Mofos! So if any of your ears were ringing between the times of 6 PM & 8 PM, Pacific Standard Time, you'll now know why... :dood:

Did a lot amp playing & research lately. This will fit in my line up. The 5150..the sheffields..lead players dream in a mix. Now layering under it & the Marshall's are set for their specific mission. Purposefully separated the amps instead of trying to make em be jacks of all trades. Instant tone available for recording soon as an idea hit.

So anyway, this is a target rich environment to lift some licks, (maybe at about half speed).
Aside from the fast playing, he is a very melodic, emotive player, though not as evident here.
More so in Too Young to Know, Lipstick Traces, etc.
I dig the way he rides the knobs too.

 
So anyway, it's been two months without playing or doing any substantial work on a guitar.:(
I feel like I've lost a part of me. Oh wait, I did. I vaporized a thumb and cut a finger in half...

But today is my 35th wedding anniversary...
I can't believe it.
Surviving 35 years with out being snuffed out in my sleep.
I'm truly blessed to have married someone tolerant of my shortcomings. . :pound-hand:

Bad :poo: happens & we move on, but relationships are for life.
At least that's how I was raised.

So here's to another 35 if we should live so long...:cheers:
