So Anyway...

Some of ya'll, if not all of ya'll, are aware that Australia is currently being devastated by massive wildfires. The news this morning is reporting that as much as 20,000 square miles, or almost 13 million acres have burned in the last few months. A lot of the burning is happening in the south east of Australia... towards the the more populated area of Australia!

To put the burned area in perspective, the state of West Virginia is about 24,000 square miles. Can us Yankees imagine the whole state of WV burnt off the map?

Lord have mercy on Australia...

So anyway, I just wanted to let all of you know how much I appreciate this community. I had been on "mood stabilizing" drugs for the past few years and today marks the 2 week break from them. I feel incredible. The mental haze is gone, my short term memory is way better and I actually feel productive and creative for a change. I came to the realization that some things in my life really do suck. Might as well deal with it versus covering it up under a cloud. I know I have been a little tweaky the last couple of weeks, but it seems to be wearing off (man did I have some freaky dreams). Thanks for putting up with me.

Chris

Glad to hear that Cadorman --- its nice having you around -- even if you do like Harleys (BUWAHAHAHAHA))

now see--- where else can you get that kinda abuse FOR FREE ???? Make a heart felt serious and honest post as you did and some douchenozzle comes and insults you and riffs all over.... the ........meaning -----
er --- hey wait a SECOND ------

;)

oh man I gotta go the dog farted--------- CLEAR THE ROOM PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know you will be on the bandwagon for a Panamerican when they arrive this fall.....
uhm.........nope---(that overweight attempt at a dirt bike???-- the Ulysses was actually a good idea---the Panafatamerica -- not so much) they wont even release wet weight figures --- besides
I gave my flesh and bone (and $$$) to the Motor Co. once -- dont have to go there again ..... thanks

FYI get your dealership to stock up on replacement radiators and radiator covers/guards ;) those things are gonna take a BEATING -- assuming ANYONE takes that thing off road (doubtful) its more like the folks that bay Mercedes and Jaguar and PORSCHE ALL WHEEL DRIVE "OFF ROAD CAPABLE" SUV's --- Id love to help pull one of the Jags outta some swamp mud BUWAHAHJAHAHAHA--- off road--- it is to laugh ...............

I should note for the record-- I have an unhealthy personal dislike of the "Motor Co." due to a "situation" with a poor design faulty product-- this is not indicative of the company as a whole or its products -- (and in fairness the part was later RECALLED)
so YA'll GO BUY HARLEYS FROM THE C MAN -- he will make BANK -- and I will sell him a nice Suzuki or Honda or TRIUMPH ...... BUWAHGAHAHAHAH

My brother rode BMW for a few years until he realized people really do die on bikes. My dad still has a Guzzi California and he will be 80 this summer. I grew up in Anamosa, IA which is the home of the National Motorcycle Museum and the origination of J & P Cycles. I remember going to J & P to get a rear tire put on my Honda 400 by one of my high school stoner buddies. Place grew a bit since then.
