Patio cover going up....these are photos before we applied the oil based, dark walnut stain. I couldn't see covering the wood with water based paint....
So, anyway... we took measurements today for the recording studio. It will have a slight triangular shape to make efficient use of the space available (18" narrower on one end) and it is being built up on the elevated section, using part of the retaining wall as a footing for the slab.

Lola is 4.5 lbs ------
not all the critters here are 100+ lb beasties ....we save rescue and rehab them all ---
and to be sure---Ive seen HER -- back down a 90 lb Lab Bloodhound----Lola is "Daddys Girl" and they ALL know NOT to mess with that ----
she had a broken leg when we got her and was SOOOO tiny the vet couldnt set it--- Shannon wrapped and splinted it best she could and Lola slept on my chest on the couch for several days ---she is in my lap as I type and is never more than a few feet from me when I am home ever since--(she will ride on my lap on the riding mower!) ---4.5 pounds of fearless fury -- as long as Im in eye sight -- buwahahahah
Lolas TAIL can be seen lower right in the pic with WILLOW the DESTROYER of Chairs----lol

SO anyway --- i was thinking (rare as it may be) and the thread about UNLIMITED funds and what guitar you would buy------and I realized----I wouldnt want to BUY a guitar at all---
with "unlimited funds" I would rather HIRE --- Eric Clapton--- or Buddy Guy--- or Jimmy Page or KEIF to allow me to hang out and JAM with them and maybe TEACH me a trick or 2 ---
THAT would be more priceless than any hunk of wood and metal ----
man I so want to win the lottery NOW THAT I HAVE A PLAN ON USING THE $$$ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
