So Anyway...

So anyway, starting tonight, I have begun to insist that my pinky act like a reasonable finger, just like the rest of them. This means that that the insolent little monster must place itself where directed (most frequently, on a string), rather than just engaging in semi-accurate flailing about. I am not certain of the consequences of its disobedience, but I have reminded it that I have, on many occassions, cut off my nose to spite my face.

I dont know why I got so far behind in following this thread.....

That pinky may interpret that as a veiled threat.
Look what happened when Van Gogh's ear didn't....... Listen.
Though I think the story goes he had some episode and didnt recall doing it.

I have the thing where my pinky wants to fly away / lift when placing my middle or ring finger.
I use the pinky quite a lot but he is an aloof F*cker when it is not all about him.
He mocks me but does mostly what is asked.

So anyway, I tried this cheapy power supply, knowing it was not truly isolated but was reviewed positively as at least, quieter than my One Spot.

It wasnt.
I sent it back, and Amazon asked me to review it.
I did.

My review:
" from John in New Jersey on May 15, 2019

You get what you pay for, or QC is sketchy

Despite a lot of positive reviews, mine was very noisy.
Sent back, refund was processed quickly."

I just got and email stating my review could not be published because it did not meet their guidelines.

I did not read that lengthy document, but skimmed it and it is the usual, ok.

I got intentionally a little snarky in my reply:

"Ridiculous.

You are obviously suppressing negative reviews.

My post was respectful, factual AND I gave the benefit of the doubt noting:

Others had posted positive reviews, and, maybe I just got a bad one, ie, Quality control may be sketchy (inconsistent, hit or miss)

Or did are you not able to understand this?"

Am I out of line here?
If so, please enlighten me.
I have seen other negative reviews of products, not sure why mine got flagged.

I went with a Donner power supply and it is truly isolated. I've had no issues so far. The only thing is it has 8 outputs and not 10. It was $75 which is not exactly cheap, but it's the lowest price I found for a truly isolated supply. It also has internal power which means no wall wart.

I bet the review is processed by text recognition software, not people

@Sp8ctre
I saw those too. Once you get closer to $150. there are some good choices.
Happy with it?
I may just bite.

Weekend Update:
so anyway, wife's car - 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.7l v8 - throws another code - P1499.
Look up says hydraulic fan solenoid circuit. Fan works fine.

Google search / forum posts say O2 circuit - and found fuse blown / blows replacements.
I'll figure it out but WTF on the code definition?

No wonder I have so little time to play / practice.
Too much to do, not enough time to do it and 1 step forward, 2 steps back.

2 weeks ago I turn on my lawn sprinklers and 1 zone has low pressure. Eventually found break in pipe, under deck. Total time to find and repair, almost 4 hours.
Really sucks trying to dig and manage things laying in the dirt. I don't mind getting wet and dirty, but Jeez on the restricted space.
GRRR.

Ok , I'm done bitching - for now.
Some of you guys got have bigger problems and I am thankful for what I do have, but GRRR.

So anyway, I thought I was a pretty good bass player. Then, I viewed a few lessons on TalkingBass.net. A simple CMaj scale, and I'm struggling
like a true beginner to play it properly with the right fingers and proper thumb position. I need some professional intervention.
