It was a short grey plate I got off ebay "tested good". I realize the limitations of tube testers.

IT was in V1 of my 18w TMB build.
I will pull the chassis and check voltages, hope to have time this weekend.
I documented the build well enough for reference.

Yes but not from scratch on this one.
Same as the AXL LP and Jr builds, I got the populated eyelet board, PT, and chassis with face plates dirt cheap from Ubuyguitars.
The cab is a repurposed bed room set end table from my moms estate; the screened metal grill/ ventilation was cut from a computer case.
Played it for about 2 hrs last night, checking it for excessive heat / smoke / smells. All ok but i was playing very low volume.
I think it is fine but will still check voltages cause thats just me.

I really liked his whammy bar technique, tone & playing style. I myself like using all positions on my Strat especially the bridge & middle. I have my vibrato bridge set to floating which I use a lot just like the guy in the video. A Stratocaster guitar without a whammy bar seems somewhat naked if you ask me.

I love the sound of my Peavey Valveking into my old Peavey Triumph speaker 12". Although I am not as in love with my playing on this clip, I wanted to share the tone without the need to get it perfect.

So this is a Dean Soldero ax in the middle position with BB bridge and Dimarzio 36 Aniv neck pups into the Valveking at 20W. Reverb is onboard, delay is from the Zoom G5n. Dirt is the "You Dirty Dog" pedal with LED and silicone clipping. Mic is a MXL 991

I enjoy performing live, but I am equally excited about recording. I become so creative when I get into the studio...
 
So, we are creatures of habit I suppose. I never set an alarm, and yet wake up at 4am daily. Even the time change doesn't throw me off. Coffee is top priority. Then, Guitar playing goes until 7am. At that time, i help my crew get up and get their days started...I make wifey her coffee...start the robot vacuums...walk kids to school...more coffee and toast...watch birds visiting feeders...more guitar playing...

What's your daily routine???
